Internal Structure of Computer

Conventionally, a computer consist at least----

  • Central Processing Unit (CPU)
  • Memory (RAM & ROM)
  • Peripheral Devices(I/P & O/P)

Central processing Unite is main component of Computer. We can call it mind of computer. It responsible for all the task happen in computer. It perform the Arithmetic and Logical operation with the help of ALU (Arithmetic & Logic Unite). According to the command given through the input device it perform the operation.

Memory used for store the data like instruction and logical sets and movie and song and pictures. In the computer there are two type of memory is used.

  • RAM
  • ROM

RAM-Random Access Memory = It is volatile memory. Volatile stand here for that when we off the power then it will be erase automatically. It is in use until the system is on. It increase the speed of system. It have capability to store data temporary which is currently in use or may be use.

ROM-Read Only Memory = It’s called hard disk. All the item is store here in the ROM. When we install any program then instruction extract and all the supporting files were stored in hard disk, that is store in here we store here data in digital form, and according to the requirement supporting file supports the the operations.

In the peripheral devices two type devices come, output and input devices. For output we use monitor and projectors. And for the input we use the keyboard, mouse, pen drive, floppy, and CD etc.

Now the question is come in the mind is that how the system work?
