Here we present a detailed timeline of events and milestones in the history of computing.

John Napier invents a system of moveable roads (Napier’s Rods) based on logarithm which was able to multiply, divide and calculate square and cube roots

Douglas Engelbart replaced punched card with keyboard and screen display

UNIVAC 1 (UNIVersal Automatic Computer 1) was introduced, the first commercial computer made in the United State. The EDVAC (Electronic Discrete Variable Automatic Computer) began performing basics task
